What you should know about March of Dimes Canada
York-Durham Aphasia Centre we offer services and mutual aid groups for people affected by aphasia, dysarthria and other communication disabilities due to stroke, apraxia, traumatic brain injury or neurological disease. We reach out to local citizens and professionals to encourage their support and involvement. Our group communication programs offer clients a way to re-enter community life, one step at a time. On a wider scale, advocacy for communicative access, our program promotes aphasia awareness, education and research.
